If you are a fan of Dr. Seuss … and also a fan of burlesque all your dreams will come true on Friday, January 18/13 when Stories for Grownups: A Dr. Seuss Tribute Burlesque takes over the stage of Hamilton’s The Pearl Company.
Have you ever wondered what Yertle looked like under that shell? What other toys the Cat kept under that Hat? And just how kinky do you suppose the Lorax really is? You loved the stories when you were young, admit it, you still love them now! Here is your chance to enjoy them again, even though you’re all grows up.
There was a naughtier side to these stories, and this show is going to demonstrate that! What better way to warm up on a cold winter night? This is just what the Doctor ordered.
Stories for Grownups is the first of a potential annual Burlesque and Cabaret event to be held at The Pearl Company. It is the first stop of a three city tour with London and Stratford to follow.
Get ready to be astounded by the artistic skills of:
Mz Kitty DeMure
Red Herring
Miss Helvetica Bold
