Enjoying the event
Macassa Bay Yacht Club was the place to be in Hamilton on Friday, June 6/14 for the Sippin’ at the Dock of the Bay III fundraiser.
Guests enjoyed a delicious BBQ dinner, live entertainment by Retro Party Groove, with special guest George Oliver, dancing, silent and live auctions, as well as a breath-taking sunset.
Proceeds from the event are earmarked for Liaison College’s Youth Success Fund, which in partnership with the John Howard Society helps local youth break through barriers to succeed in our community.
The Liaison College Youth Success Fund was started four years ago by Rudy and Suzanne Florio, President and owners of Liaison College, a private career college with ten campuses across Ontario.
Through the support of the JHS programs and services youth with challenges have successfully managed to be accepted and enrolled in post-secondary education / training at a trade school, community college or university.
