A very popular booth…for some reason!
Burlington’s premier food event of the summer is celebrating its 15th anniversary and this is an event you won’t want to miss! Lakeside à la Carte takes place on Sunday, August 10/14 from 1-4 pm. in downtown Burlington’s beautiful Spencer Smith Park and it’s where you will want to be if you love food and drink!
You’ll enjoy wonderful food, wine & spirits, all for an important cause. Hosted by Rotary Club Burlington Central, Lakeside à la Carte showcases delicious cuisine prepared by some of the area’s best restaurants, paired with local VQOA wines, beer and spirits. Huge white tents provide a temporary home to more than three dozen restaurants, wineries and breweries.
Water Street Cooker’s mushroom bruschetta served on a crostini, with goat cheese and Roma tomato spread.
It’s truly a delight for every taste and our area’s superb chefs and vintners bring out their very best tastes to support this great event. Guests stroll from tent to tent, sampling wines, and tasting delicious dishes.
What are the other elements of Burlington’s Ultimate Summer Party? There is also a silent auction, a raffle and live entertainment by Hayley Roscoe.

- Over 40 participating restaurants and wineries, as well as spirits, beers and ales
- Raffle to win: Air Canada Foundation is offering two tickets to Air Canada destinations in North America including Mexico, the Caribbean and Hawaii
- Raffle to win: Via Rail Canada is offering travel for four in the Toronto-Quebec City corridor
- Raffle to win: Green Thumb Landscaping is offering a wheel barrow filled with premium wine
- Proceeds from the raffle will go to food4kids and Halton Food For Thought
- Silent Auction with over 150 items, featuring high-end items including gourmet and art prizes, concierge service, tickets to sporting and entertainment venues, and much more
- The items are valued at $20,000.
