Love Letters Cabaret took Hamilton by storm on Feb. 13th with their show Smoke, warming everyone up nicely before Valentines Day! The cast presented a show that mixed burlesque, theatre, poetry and dance to a full house at The Pearl Company.
The theme Smoke explores is the passionate minds of cigar factory workers in the 50s. The audience is allowed to take a peek as each member takes a private moment from their mundane tasks to daydream about love affairs, secrets and desires.
Love Letters Cabaret is the creation of artistic director and choreographer Pastel Supernova (dubbed by Flare magazine as “one of Canada’s most influential women”) and Pastel and her troupe put on a show that the audience will remember for a long time.
The gallery below shows some of the highlights from the evening. Make sure you catch Love Letters Cabaret in Toronto or on April 17th when they return to Hamilton and to The Pearl Company!
