How do we know that summer is right around the corner? The John Howard Society of Hamilton, Burlington and Area (JHSHBA) host their annual Sippin’ at the Dock of the Bay fundraiser to get us in the mood!
The well attended fundraiser was held on June 2/23 at the Waterfront Centre in Hamilton and guests mingled as they enjoyed delicious cuisine, wonderful silent auction items and raffles.
The theme was a Nautical 90’s Night and those attending got into the spirit as they enjoyed dancing to songs from the era during an evening that supports the David Lane Youth Success Fund and the important work of the John Howard Society of Hamilton, Burlington and Area.
The funds raised this year are earmarked to help street involved and at-risk youth to reach their post-secondary goals.
Next year will be the JHSHBA’s 75th anniversary so we can all look forward to a very special Sippin’ at the Dock to celebrate this important occasion!
