Monkeybiz is Hamilton’s first and only site that gives you the chance to tell your stories, your way. Stream a video. Post some music. Write an article. We give you the opportunity to share your perspective through words, pictures or sounds.

Hamilton is a jungle full of unique people and hidden places. It’s a city mapped by those that live here. That’s where you come in. The team at Monkeybiz wants to give people who live in and around Hamilton a way to investigate, explore and experience the city in new ways. The site is a chance to highlight stories that don’t normally get covered in other media.

We post articles and information on local events, community, technology, and arts and entertainment. We also stream independent video and post audio files on current issues or ideas. If you think it’s interesting, other people probably do too. Let us know about it.

Monkeybiz.ca is a project of the Hamilton-based Community Centre for Media Arts (CCMA), a non-profit organization started in 1996. Monkeybiz launched in 2001.

CCMA combines new media services such as web site development, video, and IT, with arts education and skills development programming.
