MonkeyBiz.ca and Photovoice.ca are youth resources of the CCMA – (Community Centre for Media Arts Inc., a non-profit organization, located in Hamilton Ontario, Canada.) We strive to meet your information needs in innovative ways while protecting your privacy at the same time.

CCMA collects user information on our sites, via registration and traffic measurements, to more effectively tailor our offerings. This document will explain our methods and will help you understand your available choices for how you make information available to us.

What information does CCMA gather and track?

Each time you come to one of our sites, we collect standard page view information that helps us improve our sites and overall information offerings. We look at how traffic flows throughout our sites, what resources people visit, and what resources they don't. We do not know who has come to our sites, only what pages were looked at.

We do not compile individual profiles of our users.

What is Registration at MonkeyBiz.ca?

To be a MonkeyBiz.ca and Photovoice.ca Registered User:

We value member registration at MonkeyBiz.ca and Photovoice.ca because it helps us provide you with the resources you really want and need. By registering, you receive, job postings, our free email updates, chances to win free prizes and participate in our web forum. We only ask for basic information from you. Your username and password, your first name and postal code is requested, your last name is optional. Any information gathered regarding our registered users will not be sold or passed to another outside agency.

To be a Volunteer on one of our sites:

If you decide that you would like to volunteer for one of our sites and share your ideas and experience with others through the our sites, we offer a simple to use form that allows you to sign up through our sites. This information is only shared with our Volunteer Coordinator and our Administrative Personnel. At no time is this information used for any other reason then to confirm for our records, your interest in volunteering with us.

Does CCMA share information collected on the site?

CCMA does not share information collected on our sites. We want all of our sites to be useful to you at all times, and we don't provide information about you to other organizations or advertisers.

Note that if you knowingly provide personal identifying information such as your user name or e-mail address in a chat or forum bulletin board area, you should be aware that the information provided could be collected and used by others visiting that area.
