If you die while dreaming, what is it flashes in front of your eyes? In this one-man show written and performed by Nicholas (Dave) Amott, Todd Silvano finds himself dazed and alone in the darkness, with only a handful of foggy memories. Against a swirling torrent of dreams and emotions, he struggles to find consciousness, despite his own uncertainty that his life is actually one he wants to wake up to.

The play has few props save for a chair and an electric piano, but Amott makes use of various lights and lamps scattered around the stage to create a unique experience. Ranging from bright spotlights to the dim flicker of a lighter, the lights are used not only to set mood, but to create scenery and costumes as well. Something as humble as the flash on a cell phone can illuminate the scene, create a shadowy mask, or even become a character in its own right.
